Here is another question for the girls?

I've been trying to get people's opinions on this guy I like. I really don't know him that well,but I just got off a cruise, and he was our waiter every night. Ever since I can't stop thinking about him, and I feel sick sometimes thinking about him. Earlier I looked on facebook and found some people that worked on carnival cruises. I messaged this guy who works there, and asked if he knew him and told him why I messaged him. Is this weird? I have never felt like this, and I know they say that true love will happen, but what if I am the one who is supposed to make it happen? HELP!
