Over the counter pain killers?

okay, so I've been having really bad cramps since I woke up this morning (the usual time of the month kind of cramps) and usually I end up taking about 4 advil but my mom told me I should start taking midol because it helps treat bloating and fatigue as well, so I took 2 and i waiter for an hour and it had only dulled down my cramps by about half so I took 2 more.. I was fine for about 2 more hours then they started up again.. after about another hour I took 2 Tylenol and I haven't been hurting but what I wanted to know was if it's dangerous to take 6 over the counter painkillers within the span of about 4 hours.. I'm usually cautious about that sort of thing but I'm not so sure about this one.. I wasn't really thinking about how much time had passed since I last took them.. all I was thinking about was making my cramps go away.. I'll be fine... right? o.O
