Would I make more waiting tables than I do at my current job?

I work at an Italian restaurant, but we don't do full table service. I'm a front person who takes customers' orders, writes tickets, answers the phone to take carryout and delivery orders, ect. The job title is "personality". Would I make more being a waiter at a place like IHOP? I'm only 17 so I can't work at a place that serves alcohol. I get about 40 hours a week making 7.25 at my current job.
