Is it ok to have hairy arms if you are a waiter?

my arms and hands arent excessively hairy but they are normal guy hairy and for our restaurants uniform we can either wear a short sleeve or long sleeve t-shirt, i prefer the short sleeve but im not sure if the hair on my arms would be a bad thing
