I want to be a waitress, anyone who is a waitress or waiter currently please helpp !?

is being a waitress hard? like do you have to remember all the things on the menu? and do you get trained well so that you really know what your doing?? if you are a waiter or waitress please tell me what things are involved and what you need to know and stuff :]
